The other day when I was talking on phone with one of my friend I received  a complement. I got a complement after long time. I felt happy that it helped me to boost my confidence and suddenly hit me: I could not remember the last time I'd given my husband a complement.I thought he would feel the same as I am now, when someone complements him. So I decided to complement for his every move. All of us like the little things our husbands do but we don't tell him often.  There is a serious complement deficiency going on here. I feel this is not good.  Isn't:
Complements are necessary for any relationships. It builds strong bond btwn you and your partner. I heard one of the psychologist saying:For every one negative thing you say to your partner, you should say five great things about them. I used to give a lot of complements to my girlfriends about their dresses, hair and its no strangest thing to me. But coming to my husband it is harder to find but tried appreciating things that I love about him like saying
You have a great sense of humour, You are good at spending wisely, You are hot, Thanx for taking care of me, Thanx for fixing....
He noticed me doing this and he started being more affectionate to me. So girls when are you trying on your husband?

But guys even we are dying to hear complements from you about: how we keep house clean, parenting, cooking, how we look this evening and whatever you like.

P. S : by the way the complement I got from other side on the phone was saying like this "your voice is so sweet and it was the most soothing voice I ever heard"though it is a
Teeny tiny complement, I liked it !

Hey there,Do you like potato chips?? you know! I have tried many different versions to make potato chips and finger chips. But nothing turns out perfect. I thought deep fry is the only option until i tried this version of chips.  All you need to do is

  • Pre-Heat oven
  • Slice the potatoes flat with the mandolin slicer or a kitchen knife
  • Toss the slices in just half a spoon of oil and salt
  • You can also use Italian seasoning or pepper powder as per your taste
  • Place the slices on greased parchment paper
  • Microwave in high for about 3 to 4 min
  • Cool down until crisp and serve

You can use normal small microwave oven instead of grill ovens.
Parchment paper is must for this, It helps Potatoes doesn't stick on tray and cook fast
Olive oil is a healthy substitute.

Isn't that easy?when are you trying this?
Bon appetit !!

Me and my husband lived in London for about one year.We spent one of the best days in our lives there. One nice weekend we decided to do shopping in Bicester village,a one hour train journey from London Marylebone station. We went by bus from Bicester station to village. there is a Luxury coach service (shopping express(R)) from central London to the village.one and half hour drive from central London. Parking is bit complicated in Bicester village.Any ways valet parking is available.I had this awesome feeling when I reached there ,to see lots of top brands from around the world in one place. My eyes were shining with happiness to see those awesome handbags, shoes, accessories by top brands. Layout is easy to shop.

Bicester village is a place for nearly 140 luxury outlet boutiques of British and international brand from around the world like Alexander McQueen,Armani,Anya Hindmarch,Ralph Lauren, mulberry,Louis Vuitton, burberry, Cath Kidston and lot more like this all with reductions of up to 60% on the retail price. The image below is a Cath kidston outlet, they have a huge collection with lot of floral and polka dot designs.

Shoppers are greeted with Five-star services like an award-winning visitor centre complete with multi lingual hosts,Hands-free shopping, valet parking and a good descent area for children to play.Restaurants we found were Busaba Eathai, Villandry café and Carluccious.I love truffles and coffee from Carluccious.I also gift wrapped them for my family in India. Can get quite busy during holiday times.have to wait in long queues. If you are looking discounts on luxury branded stuff then this is the place for you.You can have nice crepes, ice creams, hot dogs to snack while you shop.We had delicious crepes in Creperie Angeli.they also have different versions of ice creams.Shopaholics, like me will definitely won't find enough time to check out all the outlets in one day.

Do you know any similar places like this?if you do know, hope you share with us.

Today when I was doing my dishes, one of the glass got cracked :-) I am best at this, you know! To Break almost everything :-)I have decided it to recycle like this. Sea shells I bought them from Goa. Every year we go for a holiday in Goa.Last year  also we have been there.  As it is monsoon season, It started raining heavily. I always enjoyed sea and rain together so was sitting  with umbrella on shore and watching waves touching my feet. My husband is gathering sea shells for me and filling his pockets with shells in the rain.  Its been almost a decade that I played with shells. I have filled some of those shells in the glass, you are seeing in the picture and placed a mini pot with Succulent on to the glass. This pot made from pressed coconut coir fibre, Which is organic and biodegradable. Miniature plants are suitable to grow in this pots or you can use this as a seed starting pots.

All these shells collected in that trip.Do you guys have any shells that you collected when you are kid? Share with me if  you have any similar experiences.thanks for reading.xoxo

Hello..welcome! Here I am with you again with some cute planters. Last week when I was just spending some time with my small garden in balcony, I thought I could show you some of my cute planters. Last time when I went to my hometown on a holiday,my little 3-year-old Niece gave me this stuff. This cute little white kettle is her favourite one. I am growing this little ornamental plant in there and decorated on desktop table. Yellow pumpkin is her old sipper. I recycled it to grow a succulent and Placed it in my living room.

There is cilantro and some other herbs in the egg shells now. Other ornamental plants are too big to grow in an egg-shell. You can use egg shells as a seed starting planters and it looks great too.

You should keep a small hole down to these small pots for the water drainage system.  Succulents will be perfect for recycling toys, sippers and piggybanks. Use very little water to water these plants.  If you are using it inside the house keep in sunlight every two days once for about an hour.

You can turn your favourite old toys or your kids toys in to a cute planters too...

Are you getting any crazy ideas now? ?

These are the cute planter with succulents i have collected it from web.  You can just give it a try If you have any old stuff in your house like
Old cute ballet shoes, kids toys, a big fat old book, nice ceramic bowls or glass holders convert it in to a nice planters.
You need to add a small pebbles and sand at the bottom to just avoid too much moisture inside them. As there is no hole at the bottom ,adding pebbles and sand helps like a drainage system.
First add one layer of pebbles
Then one layer of sand
And then add soil and plant a succulant or miniature plants
Use less water as much as possible

Hope you share your ideas here ....have a good  day!

Hey girls, Believe Me, this hair pack gives you shiny and healthy look to your hair. All you need is Castor oil 2 tbs, glycerin.1 tsp, apple cider vinegar 1 tsp and 1 egg.
  •  Take one egg and whisk in a bowl
  •   add 1 tsp apple cider vinegar & 1 tsp glycerin
  •   add 2 tbs castor oil
  •   mix well and apply it on scalp and hair
  •   wrap the hair in a shower cap or hot towel to retain moisture
  •   Leave it for two hours and rinse well.

Glycerin highly moisturises hair and stop dandruff.THe hair becomes smoother than before. It also helps to strengthen the hair.Do not use glycerin immediately after using any sort of dyes or colours,as glycerin dissolves with dyes and result in colour fading.

Apple cider vinegar when applied to your scalp ,removes excess buildup of chemicals from shampoo and other styling products from your hair due to its acidic nature.

Egg helps as a natural conditioner to the hair.Lack of enough moisture is the reason hair looks dull and frizzy.Egg gives you enough moisture and shiny look to your hair.It helps to speed up hair growth.

You can skip conditioner for the hair.Repeat this twice every week for about a month. After that apply this monthly once to keep up healthy hair.
